Music, Music & More Music Are you a fan of country western music? How about rock and roll? Do you like blue grass or are you a classical buff? Well, we’ve got it all. The Surface Creek Valley is not only home to some incredibly talented musicians, it also invites outstanding musicians from all over the country to give concerts. Year round you can satisfy your love of music at free concerts in the park, including the Valley Symphony and the David Starr Band, at the free summer series at the Chapel of the Cross in Cedaredge, at concerts held at the local restaurants, and at concerts at the Apple Shed in Cedaredge. In addition to our local talent, this past year we have enjoyed the music of John McEuen and son Nathan McEuen, Michael Johnson, Adrian Legg, Trinity Demask, and Bobby Mason to name a few. And if you like to dance, we’ve got that covered too. From the October Applefest Gala, to the January Snow Ball, and the April Spring Fling, you can put on your dancing shoes (or boots) and enjoy a great night out. And if you want to learn to play an instrument or continue honing your skills, we have some of the finest instructors around who can help you make your dream a reality. Our hills really are alive with the sound of music.
